The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for handling technical aspects of program/projects for the organization. The TPM initiates and drives engineering program rollouts by defining processes, tracking the progress and providing support. The TPM also collaborates closely with the Cross-Functional Management Team and ScrumMasters to effectively communicate and report project status to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities in Engineering
  • Contribute cross-functional technical and business expertise and drive program requirements
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters/EngineeringManagers to define and track success criteria and metrics for delivery
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters/EngineeringManagers to calculate capacity and estimate effort for upcoming plans
  • Responsible for the timely and successful delivery of our technical product (tracking teams)
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management
  • Provide status reports on teams' and overall project progress to top management (incl. risks and issues)
  • Maintain Program level Planning and facilitate program level activities (problem solving, clarification, cross-team retrospectives) to support Engineering Operations
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Masters to improve the efficiency of agile delivery
  • Maintain and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for agile project management
  • Onboarding new team members to engineering methodologies
  • JIRA Project Management

Responsibilities in Processes
  • Define programs and manage their rollouts
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution of the processes and implementing changes to the processes
  • Identifying and managing exceptions and deviations
  • Communicating new and changed program and project policies
  • Ensuring the standards and procedures are being followed
  • Following defined escalation path when needed, as defined in the escalation policy
  • Ensure completeness and integrity of information collected to conduct daily operations
  • Responsible for evaluating and measuring the performance of the process
  • Assist auditing of the process for compliance with documented procedures
  • Defining those parts of the Process Framework not defined by the process owner (e.g.Architects, Engineering Managers)
What you'll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,Engineering or related field experience
